Triumph has introduced the all-new Daytona 660 in India, priced at ₹9.72 lakh (ex-showroom). As the most powerful motorcycle in Triumph’s 660cc range, the Daytona 660 is a significant addition to the brand’s lineup. This model is set to compete with other mid-range sportbikes like the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the Aprilia RS 660.

Triumph Daytona 660 Engine and Performance

However, the Daytona 660’s engine is tuned for maximum performance, producing 95 HP at 11,250 RPM and 69 Nm of torque at 8,250 RPM. This tuning gives the Daytona 660 a notable edge over its naked and adventure counterparts, with an increase of 14 HP and 5 Nm in power and torque, respectively.  
Despite its higher power output, the Daytona 660 is slightly heavier than the Trident 660, weighing 12 kg more. However, it remains 5 kg lighter than the Tiger Sport 660. With a seat height of 810 mm, the Daytona 660 offers a comfortable riding posture, slightly taller than the Trident 660 but lower than the Tiger Sport 660.

In the Indian market, the Triumph Daytona 660 is priced at ₹9.72 lakh, which is ₹27,000 more than the Tiger Sport 660 and ₹1.60 lakh higher than the Trident 660. While it offers significant performance upgrades, it is worth noting that the Street Triple 765 R, which is only ₹45,000 more expensive, provides even more power and higher-spec equipment.
