New TVS Jupiter 110 Launched at Rs 73,700
The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110, the latest iteration of TVS’ immensely popular family scooter, has been launched with a starting price of Rs 73,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This update marks the first significant overhaul of the Jupiter 110 since its debut eleven years ago. With a new engine, advanced technology, enhanced styling, and improved practicality, the 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 aims to solidify its position as a leading contender in the 110cc scooter segment.

New TVS Jupiter 110 Powertrain

The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 is powered by a new 113cc engine, derived from the Jupiter 125’s powertrain. This engine produces 8hp and 9.8Nm of torque, a slight improvement over its predecessor. A standout feature is the segment-first ‘iGO Assist’ micro-hybrid technology. This innovative system, which includes a more powerful battery recharged during deceleration, offers a boost of power when needed, particularly useful for overtaking in city traffic.
The new TVS Jupiter 110 distinguishes itself by running on 12-inch wheels with 90/90-12 tyres at both ends, ensuring a stable and comfortable ride. The top variants are equipped with a 220mm front disc brake, while all variants feature a 130mm rear drum brake, providing reliable stopping power.

New TVS Jupiter 110 Features

The new Jupiter 110 comes with a range of advanced features designed to enhance the rider’s experience. The higher variants boast a Bluetooth-compatible digital display, offering turn-by-turn navigation, call and notification alerts, and voice assist through the TVS SmartXconnect app. This app allows users to access a variety of features by pairing their smartphone with the scooter’s digital dash.

Safety features have also been upgraded in the 2024 TVS Jupiter 110. The scooter now includes a rapid flashing indicator system that activates during hard braking, alerting other road users of an emergency stop. Additionally, the indicators automatically switch off after 100 meters or 20 seconds, reducing the risk of forgetfulness while riding.

New TVS Jupiter 110 Design

The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 sports a sharper and more modern design compared to its predecessor. The large LED DRLs integrated with turn signals at both the front and rear, along with the sharper body panels, give the scooter a dynamic look.
In terms of practicality, the 2024 Jupiter 110 inherits several features from the Jupiter 125, including a 5.1-liter fuel tank located under the floorboard with a front apron opening for easy refueling. The under-seat storage has been expanded to 33 liters, capable of holding two half-face helmets, making it one of the most spacious options in its category.

New TVS Jupiter 110 Variants, Pricing and Rivals

The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 is available in four variants: Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SmartXonnect, and Disc SmartXonnect. Despite the extensive updates, the starting price has increased by only Rs 50 from the previous model, maintaining its competitive edge in the market. The scooter is offered in six different colors, catering to a wide range of consumer preferences.
The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 competes with other popular scooters in the 110cc segment, such as the Honda Activa and the Hero Pleasure. However, with its new features, advanced technology, and enhanced design, the Jupiter 110 aims to set a new benchmark in this highly competitive category.
