Expected to debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi, the eVX is poised to make waves both in India and international markets.  
The Maruti eVX is confirmed to make its global debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo in Delhi. This eagerly awaited event will showcase the production-ready version of the eVX, following its initial reveal at the 2023 Auto Expo and subsequent updates at the Japan Mobility Show.
Maruti Suzuki plans to launch the eVX in Europe first, with India following closely in the first half of 2025. This strategy underlines the company’s global ambitions, with a focus on establishing a strong presence in the competitive EV market.    

Maruti eVX Design and Features

The Maruti eVX is expected to feature a modern and dynamic design, complete with split LED headlamps, large alloy wheels, and C-pillar-mounted rear door handles. These design elements not only enhance the vehicle’s aesthetic appeal but also align with the latest trends in automotive design.    
Inside, the Maruti eVX is anticipated to come with a suite of advanced features. These include electrically adjustable front seats, a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, a floating center console, and a rotary dial for drive modes. Additionally, the SUV is likely to be equipped with a 360-degree camera, further enhancing its safety and convenience offerings.

Although official specifications have not yet been released, the Maruti eVX is rumored to be powered by a 60kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor driving the front wheels. This setup is expected to deliver an impressive range of up to 550km on a single charge, positioning the eVX as a strong contender in the mid-size electric SUV segment.

Production and Partnership with Toyota

The Maruti eVX will be exclusively manufactured in India, emphasizing the country’s growing importance in the global automotive industry. Maruti Suzuki plans to produce 1.5 lakh units annually, with a significant portion of these destined for export.  
The eVX is being developed in collaboration with Toyota, a partnership that is expected to yield a Toyota-badged version of the SUV. This joint venture underscores the strategic importance of the eVX in Maruti Suzuki’s global expansion plans.
