Nissan is set to launch its highly anticipated Ariya EV in India. This move follows the introduction of the X-Trail and aims to position the Ariya e-SUV as a premium offering in Nissan’s Indian lineup. Globally, the Ariya is available with single-motor, rear-wheel-drive, and twin-motor, four-wheel-drive powertrains. It offers two battery pack options: a 63kWh and an 87kWh. The 63kWh pack delivers 217hp and 300Nm of torque with a claimed range of 402km, while the 87kWh model produces 242hp and 300Nm, offering up to 529km of range. The top-spec 87kWh version generates 306hp and 600Nm of torque with a range of up to 513km.
The Ariya is equipped with advanced driver assistance features, including an enhanced version of Nissan’s ProPilot system. The SUV achieved a full five-star rating from Euro NCAP in 2022.
